The depth of my vision blinds me,
Burning, scalding my eyes.
Yet they must look deeper still,
Piercing into the abyss of chaos.
Alone, absent, confused.
Cold and dusty Dawn wakes like a sloth,
Sun slowly emerging on the horizon:
Devastating, incandescent, blinding.
I am here, awake, alert.
I blink and now it's dusk,
All is now still, but not me.
Did I sleep, I do not know.
Darkness creeps and night falls,
Normality sleeps, but i do not.
A crescent moon yet to fill,
A leafless tree stabbing sky.
Find me on the steepest hill,
Hanging now, I hope I die.
The depth of my vision blinds me,
Burning, scalding my eyes.
Yet they must look deeper still,
Piercing into the abyss of chaos.
Alone, absent, confused.
